Immediately after all of the fun at prom, the senior class set out for a fun two-day trip to Sioux Falls for their Senior Trip. The bus ride down to Sioux Falls was a pretty quiet one because everyone was very tired from the night before. Upon arriving to Sioux Falls, the class made a stop at the mall to waist some time before going to jump around at SkyZone. At SkyZone, the class spent an hour doing various activities on the trampolines. These activities included doing flips into the foam pit, playing dodge ball against each other, climbing the rock wall, and trying (unsuccessfully) to dunk on the basketball hoops. After getting sufficiently sweaty at SkyZone, half of the seniors went back to the mall, and the other half went to Scheels to waist some more time before going to the hotel. When they arrived at the hotel, everyone got settled into their rooms. After this, some went swimming and some walked down to a gas station to get some snacks. Those who swam had a lot of fun going down the water slide, playing basketball, and sitting in the hot tub. When the swimmers got tired of swimming, they went back to their rooms and got ready to go eat out at B-Dubs (Buffalo Wild Wings). Some of the senior’s eyes were bigger than their stomachs as they got too much food. After eating, the seniors went back to the hotel to play video games, swim in the pool (again), and play in the arcade. The next morning everyone was up bright and early in order to go eat breakfast at IHop. IHop might not have been the best choice for breakfast, though, as some of the students experienced bad service, and others experienced some fruit that tasted like onions. After the funky breakfast, the seniors went to the Great Plains Zoo and saw everything that it had to offer including giraffes, penguins, tigers, and black bears. After exploring the zoo for a couple hours it was time to go back home. Before leaving, though, this writer had to stop for a souvenir at the gift shop (a stuffed penguin named Jamarcus). On the way home the seniors stopped in Mitchell to get some food at Culvers. For the rest of the bus ride, everyone slept as they were tired from all the fun that they had during the weekend.
