This is the last year that Caroline McGillvrey  will be teaching and tech coordinating at Wolsey-Wessington. She has been an invaluable asset to  the school for many years, and she will be greatly missed. Thanks to her, our students and staff have had many terrific technology opportunities throughout the years. Farewell and good luck, Mrs. McGillvrey!

What will you be doing with all of your free time?  I plan to spend more time with family.

Why did you decide to retire this year?
Life needs balance, and I realized I needed to make this change in order to achieve a healthier balance between work and living.

What has been your favorite class to teach?  I think my favorite moment in any class I’ve taught comes years later when students come back to say that they appreciate and have used what they’ve been taught.

What is your favorite memory from your time here?  There are too many to count!

Is there anything you’ll miss after retiring? I’ll miss the students!

How has the school changed from when you started teaching?   You know…“The more things change, the more they stay the same.”  While certain things like technology and curriculum have changed dramatically, many things, such as the importance of getting to know students and expecting the best from them, has stayed the same.
