The Wolsey-Wessington junior’s went to Huron, SD for a college fair.   The fair took place in the Huron Arena, and many college around the state were there.  The schools will show off their schools and different degrees and opportunities they can give students.

Once the students got to the arena, they were pleasantly surprised to see all of the different types of colleges there.  The students saw that there was two year, four year, and military schools all over for them to visit.  Right away, the different colleges greeted us and started talking to us once we walked up to their booths.  The most popular schools that the juniors went to were, University of South Dakota, South Dakota State University, Nebraska University, Northern State University, Lake Area Tech, and Mitchell Tech.  Most of the juniors were excited to be there, especially if they do not know what college to go to for the future major.

A current junior, Cortney Sprecher says, “I loved the college fair, and there was a lot of options.  I also thought that we could visit anyone and be interested.”  As you can see, the juniors had a blast at the college fair and would recommend that all future junior classes go and explore the opportunities.
