After Mrs. Rowen retired as the elementary and middle school principal, Mrs. Haider took over her role. It has been three months since she started. Before making the transition to being principal, Mrs. Haider was a 5th and 6th grade science and math teacher. She said “I just wanted to be a teacher, but I slowly fell into this position.” Along with the transition she says, “I get to work with all of the kids instead of just 5th and 6th grade.” I asked if there were hard parts, and she said the hardest thing is trying to make everyone happy. However, she says she would like to be principal for a long time.  So, it looks like she is having a great year so far. Keep up the good work, Mrs. Haider!!!
