The Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls brought the Zoo-mobile to Wolsey Wessington School. They came for the biology class to talk about conservation. Conservation is protecting, and restoration from the natural environment, so the basic rights of respecting an animal. She brought four animals: Fiji the Chinchilla, Aphrodite the Screech Owl, Shelly the turtle, and Bandit the ferret.

What did you want you kids to get out of this?

Mrs.Neuharth: I wanted the kids to learn about conservation, and why it is important in a fun way!
