The Wolsey-Wessington HOSA club is making great strides with their future career dreams.  The club has just recently signed up for events and will be taking event tests on February 20th and if they are accepted, they will be heading to the state convention.

The state convention is located in Sioux Falls, SD at the Sanford Pentagon.  The Avera hospital sets up all of the competitions, has booths around the building, and gives hospital visits.  The man in charge of the events is Brock Rops and he visited the HOSA club on January 10th, to discuss events for state.

Raquel Nelson says, “I am looking forward to competing in the career I am going to pursue.”

Many of the club members are eager for the state convention and learning more about the career they chose to participate in.  Whatever career they decide to pursue, the Wolsey-Wessington school will be proudly represented.
