A Michigan woman was pulled over by police officer Matthew Minard for speeding. He let her off with a lesser violation then which she had committed. It must not have been this lady’s best day because after he gave her the ticket, the woman raised her middle finger high into the air. The police officer didn’t respond very well to this. After the lady drove away, the police officer pulled her over again, and he changed her offense to a more serious speeding violation. After this had all taken place, the Michigan lady took the officer to court. She had complained that the officer had violated her freedom of speech and her right against unreasonable seizure. The lady ended up winning her case, and the court told the man that he “she have known better”. This was a 3-0 decision.

Personally, I think that it is funny that the woman flipped off the police officer. I wouldn’t ever do that myself in fear of getting in bigger trouble, but that lady didn’t seem to care. I also think it is interesting that she actually took Officer Minard to court for giving her a bigger ticket.
